2017 Spring Council Camporee

Trip on Saturday to D-Day Weekend at Conneaut, OH.

Preparation

A special "chair" per person. We'll be working on creating our own chairs at our Aug. 16 meeting.

We'll bring a donation per person of $5-10.

Scout Volunteer opportunity tomorrow, Saturday, from 9am at Great Valley fire hall to help mark out camp sites and help Great Valley Fire Dept.

The local chapter of trout unlimited from Randolph is putting on a workshop for Scouts of all ages. There will be stations in fish ecology, stream ecology, fly casting, knots and fly  time in the scouts will get to bring home their own fly.  we held this event once several years ago it was a big hit with the scouts hired everyone to bring their family.

Introduction to OUtdoor Leader Skills Training (IOLST) from April 28-30, 2017 at Camp Merz, 5273 West Lake Road, Mayville, NY 14757

Join the Allegheny Highlands Council for a weekend of fun, good food, Fellowship and training in the outdoors skills every Adult Leader should know.

The 2017 (13th Annual) Allegheny Reservoir Clean-up will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

We'll meet at the Onoville Marina at 8 a.m. where everyone will sign-in and be given supplies (trash bags and gloves) prior to being taken to a designated spot on the reservoir.

Boy scout skills Saturday to Sunday

Boys will build fire and sleep in tents.

Boys will cook dinner and breakfast.
