Marilyn need's people that are skilled at using computers to scan & save historic photos and documents at the Great Valley Town Hall.

Preparation Prior to Event

Weekend Cabinning for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts at Allegany State Park's Camp Allegany. Dates are determined!

We'll be doing the following activities:

Winter Battles

Bring your sled, snowblock and winter tools as the boys will build snow bases starting on Friday afternoon.

Sledding

We'll pick a hill and go sledding.

Court of Honor Hike

9 start cooking breakfast on stoves at the Bee Hunter Pavilion at Allegant State Park.

Set up a spot on Bee Hunter to eat snacks on the trail.

Hike back to the Beehunter Pavilion for Court of Honor and cook lunch at around 1:30PM.

Other hikers invited to join scouts, their friends and families.

Boy Scout Backpack Preparation for the hike on Saturday.

Boys to determine if this will fit in their plans.

On October 8-9, 2016 during the Ellicottville Fall Festival, Boy Scout Troop 652 will be parking cars at the HoliMont Parking Lot on Route 242.

I Love My Park Day is an exciting statewide event, organized by Parks & Trails New York (PTNY) in partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) and local Friends groups, to celebrate and enhance New York’s parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park system and its needs.

Hosted by The Friends of Allegany State Park

15 Mile Bike Ride on the Pat McGee Trail. We start around 9:30 try to get there at 9:15. Contact Scoutmaster, Mark Kurtis, or the current SPL, Patrick Dineen to join in.
